Church of Agios Konstantinos and Eleni

It rises above Mandraki and it is built in a three-aisle basilica type. It has rich iconography, a marble iconostasis and a tall marble bell-tower. Its roof is supported by monolithic granite columns which were transferred from the temple of Apollo to Patara of Lycia, in Asia Minor.

Church of Agios Georgios

Beside the monument of Santrape there is the church of Agios Georgios (19th century) which is surrounded by enormous eucalyptus trees. It was built of stone, but later it was calcinated and its interior is unfinished. A small section of mosaic floor, pessaries (oval stones) and some parapet slabs of the iconostasis reveal the existence of the post-Byzantine church of Agios Georgios Malaxos or Psifios, of the 17th century, where the current church is now located.

Ai Giorgis tou vounou

The 401 stairs that begin from the asphalted road behind Horafia and a short walk on a path will bring you to the peak of a hill above the settlement of Kastellorizo. After you enjoy the view you can visit Ai Giorgis tou vounou (or vouniou), a monastery of fort style. It is there that the catacomb of Agios Charalambos is located. Walking from the monastery you reach Paleokastro.
