Archaeological Museum.

The museum has been in operation since 1981. It was designed by the architect Stamos Papadakis and sponsored by Vasilis and Eliza Goulandris Foundation. Its exhibits include collections of findings from the geometric settlement of Zagora, sculptures dating from the Archaic to the Roman period and inscriptions and sculptures of the Early Byzantine and Byzantine era. The Hermes of Andros that was found in Palaiopoli and is a replica of an older bronze statue created by Praxiteles in the 1st century BC stands out among the rest of the exhibits.
